Do French Bulldogs Shed Much. French bulldog shedding depends a lot on their genetics. As long as you keep up on maintaining the grooming and health of your French bulldogs coat you should not see excessive shedding.
With French Bulldogs it is common to shed when they need a lighter coat during the summer months. The skin under there hair can be irritated and they will. French Bulldogs shed but not as much as other dogs.
Bathe them monthly or as needed to keep their coat healthy and clean.
But that is misleading. Why do they shed so much. At the very least all breeds shed their old or damaged hair. Since some Frenchies have a relatively thin coat all year round you might expect your dogs fur everywhere.
